Building your Bottle Cutter
Tools to complete your build:
Metric Allen Keys
Adjustable Spanner (or size 11mm)
PH0 Philips Screwdriver
Safety Gloves
Step 1
You will need:
Base (x1)
M8 x 30mm Hex Bolt (x1)
Take the Base and insert the two M8x30mm Hex Bolts from the bottom.
Step 2
You will need:
Base Plate (x1)
Flip the Base back over and press the Base Plate into the cutout.
Step 3
You may need:
1mm Spacer L (x1)
1mm Spacer R (x1)
Place the 1mm Spacer L and 1mm Spacer R over the bolts.
Ensure that you are placing the Spacers the correct way around using the image for reference.
Step 4
You will need:
8mm Spacer L (x1)
8mm Spacer R (x1)
Place on the 8mm Spacer L and 8mm Spacer R with the blade cutout facing upwards.
Step 5
You will need:
Utility Knife Balde (x1)
Place the Utility Knife Blade into the groves of the 8mm Spacers.
Ensure that the blade is set in the groves before moving on to the next step
Step 6
You will need:
Top Spacer L (x1)
Top Spacer R (x1)
Place the Top Spacer L and Top Spacer R over the bolts.
Step 7
You will need:
M8 Hex Nuts (x2)
Knobs (x2)
Insert the two M8 Hex Nuts into the two Knobs.
Step 8
Screw the two Knobs onto the bolts. Ensure that the M8 Hex Nut is visible from the top.
Step 9
You will need:
4 x 25mm Wood Screw (x4)
Now is a good time to secure the Bottle Cutter down using the four 4x25mm Wood Screws.
Step 10
You will need:
M8 Threaded Rod (x1)
Insert the M8 Threaded Rod into the Base
Step 11
You will need:
Ball (x1)
On the other end of the M8 Threaded Rod place on the Ball.
Congratulations!
Your Bottle Cutter is now built and ready to start processing bottles.
