For most projects, a motorised shredder is too expensive, or just not required. That's why we designed the cheapest possible shredder designed specifically for human power. The Shredder Mini is designed to be bolted to a table and used to shred bottle caps down to the perfect size for working with one of our Injection Machines.

The simple 19mm Hex Shaft is designed to work with all metric ratchets, meaning you can safely connect a handle using any ratchet or spanner you may have already lying around the workshop. It is your perfect low-cost entry into recycling plastic waste. As long as you have strong arms, this is the machine for you!

Can I connect this to a motor?

Yes, the machine was originally designed for hand cranking but you can easily attach a small battery drill to speed up the process.

What type of plastic can I shred?

Because it’s hand-cranked, we recommend the thinner the better. Bottle caps are the best option here, and perfect for demonstration.
